M as in Masoud:
I'm a masters graduate in Computer Science/Math, however I've always had interest in different forms of art and photography has proved to be one of my favourite forms, therefore photography is the main thing I've been doing for a while. I try to see the world in some other way, or sometimes just experiment to see how things can be seen, or show you what I see, maybe we can become friends. My work has been shown in different websites and exhibitions and I'm currently working on a book about Iran, hoping to publish it soon.

Equipment:
I use any camera that I can put my hands on, but so far only digital. The cameras I own are a Canon 5d, Canon Digital Rebel XT (350d), Canon S80 and Pentax MX4 (My first camera was a Canon S50 which unfortunately passed away and in my opinion, still beats most of today's compact cameras. Update: My Canon S50 is alive again, thanks to the magic of cheap-repairing). I have the following lenses: Canon 16-35L f2.8, Canon 50mm f1.8 (aka Erika), Canon 180 f3.5 Macro, Canon 28-70L f2.8 (aka Anna), Canon 70-200L f4 IS, Sigma 70-200 f2.8, Sigma 28-70 f2.8-4, Sigma 70-300 f4.5-5.6. I'm planning to get a good set of studio photography equipment soon and envision a time when I can own a 200 mega pixel digital camera.

Photolog:
The name of the site (P O T ' D) can either be an abbreviation for Photo Of The Day (and some days, sadly no photo belongs to them), or to make it a bit more juicy (or steamy), it can be read as Pot Head, which can be kind of an interesting and controversial concept, no matter how you interpret it. Otherwise, from time to time, you can tell me how to improve the photos. Otherwise, you're not really being helpful, as far as this website is concerned.
