First shot, shot in Kavir e Loot, Kerman province, Iran. Those little dome-like structures you see, called Kootoo, actually work as little rooms and the whole thing is like an inn in the desert. In the summer, the temperature inside the Kootoos are about 10 degrees less than the outside, which is a big relief when the temperature outside is about 50 degrees centigrade.
