Seems like it's Rostam and his horse Azarakhsh (Lightning). Rostam was a legendary hero who was believed to have lived for about a thousand years and protected Persian kings and their empire from the attacks of outsiders. Ferdowsi, the great Persian poet, has described the story of Rostam in his masterpiece Shaah-Naameh (The Epic of Kings).
